Janet Pitt

A native Washingtonian, Janet came to the Halem Group from the corporate world where she specialized in marketing and branding in the technology and healthcare industries. She also spent years as a senior event and protocol executive and still works part time fostering diplomacy and collaboration among institutions, countries, and people with various national and international organizations including UNESCO and the Bipartisan Policy Center.

After spending years organizing events at homes from Montgomery County to Kalorama, to Capitol Hill, Janet decided to pursue her passion in real estate and help people find and sell their homes in the National Capital Area. In addition to her extensive knowledge of the DC region, Janet's variety of experiences have given her a unique set of skills in business, marketing, negotiations, and customer service that serve our clients exceptionally well. Janet’s ultimate goal is to build meaningful relationships, help clients find their dream home, and make a profound impact in the world - both personally and professionally.

Janet is committed to giving back to the community and has served on the Multiple Sclerosis Ambassadors Ball committee, the International Student House planning committee, the board of the American Committee to Save Tyre and currently serves on the board of Diplomacy and Fashion. She resides in Rockville, Maryland with her husband Joel, their three daughters, and everyone’s favorite, pup Oakley.
